Adding and managing leads

Import a file or add leads one by one, match the columns and see what was skipped and why.

A lead is a person a campaign will call. You find them on the campaign’s Leads tab. It shows each lead’s phone number, status and attempts. Filter by status or use Search leads.

Import a file

  1. On the Leads tab, choose Import leads.
  2. Drop a CSV file, or choose one. It needs a heading row and a phone number on each row.
  3. Under Columns to import, check how the columns match. We match them from the headings. Phone number is always required. Name, Company name and any other detail are required when the agent reads them out, and optional otherwise.
  4. Under Where are these leads from?, say where the list came from. If someone asks, the agent says where their number came from.
  5. Choose the button that shows how many rows to import.

Write numbers with the country code, such as +47 400 00 000. Columns you don’t match are still kept with each lead, so the agent can mention them.

What happened to each row

The result sorts every row:

  • Added: in To call. The agent calls them once the campaign is running.
  • Filled in: leads already in the campaign that were missing a detail now have it.
  • On the do-not-call list: added so you can see them, but they won’t be called.
  • Duplicates skipped: already in the campaign, or twice in the file.
  • Couldn’t be read: the number is missing, invalid or has no country code. The result lists each row and the reason.

Fix those rows in the file and import it again. Leads already added are skipped as duplicates. Choose Undo this import to remove the leads the file added. You can do this until you close the panel.

Add one lead

Choose Add lead and enter a phone number with its country code, and a name. Company and email depend on what the agent reads out.

Lead details

Choose a lead to open it. You can change the name, company, email, where the lead is from, and the details the agent can mention. You also see the status, what it means, and the calls so far.

  • A number that has been called can’t change. Remove the lead and add the corrected number.
  • A lead can’t be edited while the agent is calling them.
  • In an archived campaign, leads can’t be changed, but they can still be removed.

Removing leads

Choose Remove lead, or select several and remove them together. They won’t be called again, and their calls are kept. This can’t be undone. A lead on a call, or with a booked meeting, stays when you remove in bulk. If the person opted out, the number stays on the do-not-call list.
