AI Voice Agents

Your list, called. Your phone, answered. In Norwegian.

Every team has calls nobody gets to: a list worth calling, and a phone that rings while everyone is busy. Future Ready's AI voice agents work the list in Norwegian and book the meeting into your calendar, and answer your line when your team is busy or closed. Their first sentence says it's an AI — and nobody can edit that out.

Hei!

What it does

  • Calls in Norwegian

Bokmål, five Norwegian voices, Norwegian working hours and public holidays.

  • Books inside the call

Reads your live calendar, writes the meeting in before hanging up, confirms by SMS.

  • Tested before it may dial

Every agent passes a launch gate first; edit the agent and its campaigns pause until it passes again.

How a campaign runs

From a list to a booked meeting

  1. Import the list

A CSV with Norwegian or English column names. Numbers are normalised, opt-outs screened out and kept visible, and every column the script reads has to be filled.

    leads.csv · 412 rows
  2. Pass the gate

Before it may dial, the agent survives simulated prospects who ask if it's a robot and who ask to be left alone, graded against a versioned rubric.

    rubric v10 · passed
  3. Dial inside the window

Norwegian working hours and public holidays, at the pace and retry cadence you set, from a pool of real caller IDs that are never withheld.

    09:00–16:00 · Europe/Oslo
  4. Book inside the call

It reads your live calendar, writes the meeting in and confirms by SMS. Interest but no good slot becomes a callback, not a forced booking.

    Tue 10:30 · calendar + SMS
  5. Hand over the outcome

Transcript, outcome and a written brief for the adviser, all in the console; a privacy SMS to the person who was called.

The list nobody gets to

Outbound loses every prioritisation argument: everyone agrees somebody should call the list, and the people who could are already in the meetings that exist. The result isn't a bad pipeline, it's an untouched one. An AI caller doesn't replace a salesperson; it works the part of the list a salesperson was never going to reach.

Norwegian, not translated into Norwegian

A voice agent that sounds like a translated American script gets hung up on in the first ten seconds. This one speaks Bokmål in one of five Norwegian voices. Its timing — when to back-channel, when to yield to an interruption, how long to wait before speaking — was tuned on our own Norwegian calls, not defaults. It knows that a short “hei” at the end of a booked call is a goodbye, not a new question. It works Norwegian business hours, knows the public-holiday calendar including the movable feasts around Easter, and sends its confirmations in Norwegian. Swedish and English voices are in the catalogue; Norwegian is what runs today.

It books the meeting, it doesn't sell

The agent has one job: find out whether there's a reason to talk further and, if there is, get it into the diary. It reads your real calendar availability mid-call, offers times that genuinely exist, and writes the meeting in before hanging up. It confirms by SMS to the number it dialled, and by email where you already hold the address. It never asks anyone to spell an address out over the phone: we don't ask for it because it's misheard too often. Your adviser then gets a written brief of the conversation, so the meeting doesn't start from scratch. It will not quote a price or commit to terms.

Compliance you can't switch off

The first sentence of every call — that this is an AI assistant, and which company it calls for — is composed by the platform and prepended to every agent. The console can't edit it, so it can't be dropped. Before an agent may dial, it has to pass a launch gate: simulated prospects who demand to know if it's a robot and who ask to be left alone, graded against a versioned rubric. Editing the agent pauses every campaign running on it until it passes again. Every outbound call closes with the right to opt out, said aloud, and every connected one is followed by an SMS naming the page that explains the rest. We keep no audio of our own — only the transcript.

A campaign you can actually watch

Lead lists import from CSV — Norwegian or English column names — with numbers normalised and opt-outs screened out on the way in. A suppressed lead stays visible, so you can see it was never dialled. Calling windows, dial pacing and retry attempts are yours to set. Caller IDs rotate across a pool of real numbers and are never withheld. The overview tells you which campaigns need attention and why. Each call carries its transcript, its outcome and the adviser's brief, all in the console.

How answering calls works

From a busy line to a handled call

  1. Forward your line

Your phone system forwards calls when your team is busy, when you're closed, or from one menu option. You choose when; turn forwarding off and the agent stops.

    busy · closed · menu
  2. Answer from what you wrote

It answers only from your instructions and the knowledge you give it. What isn't there, it says it doesn't know. It never looks up or changes anything on a caller's account.

    knowledge · your answers
  3. Put urgent calls straight through

A lost card, fraud, or someone in danger goes to your urgent number at once, open or closed. Never a message.

    urgent → your line
  4. Hand over with a reference

During opening hours it puts the caller through to the right team and gives them a four-digit reference to pass on.

    ref 4821 · transferred
  5. Take the message

Otherwise it takes a name, a number to call back, read back digit by digit, and what it's about. Your team gets an email with a link, never the call itself.

    message · call back

What it won't do

An AI on the phone is easy to overclaim. These are the lines this one holds, on purpose.

  • Put a prospect through to a human

A campaign agent has no transfer tool. It says so if asked, and books a time for an adviser to call back instead. Only an agent answering your phone transfers, and only to your own team.

Instead: a booked callback from a person.

  • Quote a price or agree terms

It books; a person sells. That is a rule in its instructions, not a hope about its behaviour.

Instead: a meeting with the adviser who can.

  • Keep the audio

Only the transcript is kept, for 365 days. We never store the recording.

Instead: the transcript and the adviser's brief.

  • Skip the disclosure

The first sentence is composed by the platform. No script and no operator can remove it.

Instead: it says who is calling, first.

Questions we get asked

Does the AI admit that it's an AI?
It says so in its first sentence, and that sentence isn't editable — the platform prepends it to every agent, so no script can leave it out. Ask it directly whether you're talking to a machine and it says yes; that answer is tested in the launch gate before an agent may dial, and it cannot be switched off.
Is this legal to use for outbound sales calls?
The agent is built to the stricter end of what's expected. It says it's an AI and names the company in its first sentence. It states the right to opt out before it hangs up, and honours an opt-out on the spot and keeps the number off the list from then on. Every connected call is followed by an SMS naming the page that explains who called, where the number came from and what is kept. We keep no audio recording of our own, only the transcript. The EU AI Act's transparency duty has applied in the EU since August 2026; Norway's EEA implementation is behind it, and we built to it anyway. What we can't do is advise you on your own list: how it was sourced is a question for your counsel, and we'd expect you to have that answer before a campaign runs.
What happens when someone asks not to be called again?
The agent confirms it out loud before it hangs up — never silently — and the number goes on the do-not-call list and stays there, covering every other lead sharing it. It's enforced in three separate places: when a list is imported, again at the moment of dialling, and once more after the call.
Can it hand over to a human?
When it answers your phone, yes: during your opening hours it puts the caller through to the right team with a four-digit reference, and an urgent caller goes through at once, open or closed. When it calls your list, no. A campaign agent has no transfer tool, says so plainly if asked rather than pretending, and books a time for an adviser to call back instead. We'd rather it say what it can't do than promise a handover that doesn't exist.
Does it work in languages other than Norwegian?
Norwegian is what's delivered today — the voices, the holiday calendar and the confirmations are all Norwegian. Swedish and English voices are in the catalogue. Another market is configuration rather than a rebuild, but Norwegian is what runs today.
